There are a couple of dates coming up that you should be aware of if you’re a local Contra Costa Bank of America customer looking for mortgage help.  While there aren’t any in Contra Costa proper, there are some nearby, or within an hour or so reach.  For those considering a Bank of America short sale, or thinking a loan modification with B of A may help you, these are the events to attend.

You can check with the Bank of America events website for a detailed list of WHAT TO BRING to the events. In some cases, you can walk out of the event with a resolution, in other cases they can guide you in starting the process, work with you to submit the paperwork right then and there, and to educate you on the process of loan modification or a short sale with Bank of America.  You must register in advance, and you can do so at the Bank of America event website above.

Contra Costa Bank of America customers should really take advantage of the outreach activities they are doing, as they are trying to be more proactive in their approach with those homeowners seeking help.  Bank of America has recently introduced a proactive short sale one that can be started and approved before you even put the home on the market.  Recent HAFA short sale changes has also enabled B of A to approved short sales for investors too, check out my previous post on the subject of Contra Costa HAFA short sales, specifically for the changes for investor property and the ability for your tenant to receive a $3,000 relocation allowance.
